Shade #21 – Light Beige
I originally bought this BB cream for my mum, who was looking for some light coverage with a high SPF, but I’ve started ‘borrowing’ it more and more as I’ve realised how good it actually is. It comes in 3 shades and this is the one in the middle, although it is still is a pretty fair shade even for someone like me who is pale. This is common with many Korean BB creams which aim to lighten and brighten the skin tone, as well as have a ‘whitening’ effect, although for anyone with a fair to light tan complexion I think this shade would work as it adjusts to your natural skin colour. The name ‘perfect cover’ is actually quite apt for this BB cream, as it has the most amazing ability to have a light consistency at the same time as making your skin look flawless, but in a way that is like real skin and not a face full of make-up. It is easy to apply either with fingers or a sponge, and it dries to a semi-matte finish which doesn’t settle in fine lines, looks very natural, and wears well throughout the day. Perfect Cover also claims to be anti-aging, containing SPF 42 PA+++, hyaluronic acid and ceramides, as well as calming ingredients rosemary and camomile. The packaging too is very convenient, a 50ml tube but with a pump, so it’s easy to travel with. Overall I think this is one of the best BB creams I’ve tried so far and I would definitely recommend it!
